Miranda Sawyer spent her formative years in Wilmslow, Cheshire in a white ra-ra skirt and turqoise mascara. Since then, she has written for a variety of publications, including The Observer, The Mirror, The Face, Smash Hits, Vogue, Select and Time Out. She has served as a token bird on several television panels. She won Magazine Feature Writer of the Year in 1993, and Music Writer of the Year in 1995. Park and Ride is her first book.
